The Merlot House story
Merlot House is a 1953 character home in Bridgeland, Calgary, Alberta, in one of the city's most loved inner-city neighbourhoods. What started as one warm, wine-influenced place to stay has grown into five distinctive stays under one roof and one brand.
Wine inspires our naming and our personality — it never dictates the wallpaper. Each stay has its own character: the flagship three-bedroom house, three boutique retreats, and The Press Box, an industrial sports and entertainment retreat unlike anything else in the city.
We're independent, we're local, and we think where you sleep should be part of the trip — not just where you crash after it.
